Introduction

Tylor Freeborn: (pointing to the fog)I'm going in. I think I got it figured out. I think I'll be okay. I don't think things are the same inside as they are outside. I think things are... twisted in there. If you breathe that stuff, it'll get you. Poison you. but it's the sound that makes you susceptible to it, makes you do things you don't want to do. The music. Like the Pied Piper, we're children being lured into the sea. Into the nameless abyss, the ancient city beneath. Where they sleep. I'm going in, I'm going to try and push through to the other side, wherever that is. I don't plan on coming back. (He gives a military salute and walks into the fog)

Dragon

When dark dreamers sleep, they act as nightmares in our world. When they wake, we will be dreams in theirs. Today finds us somewhere in between - that groggy moment in the morning when nothing is yet real. We are faced with something vague and incalculable.
We must learn to calculate it while we still can.

Illuminati

Did you just fall asleep on a dingy? Ugh. I don't know what you saw or what you think you saw, but I'm having trouble confirming any of it.

Here's what I do know: there are various strains of Filth, each the product of a unique (though unrelated) source; there are two such soures infecting Solomon Island; the second source of infection spreads through the fog; the fog has already rolled through Solomon Island, meaning all its residents are probably fucked.

Fun fact: don't get attached to anyone on Solomon Island.

Templar

This is analogous to other "dream-like experiences" various agents have been reporting in the field. Analogous, and yet not the same.

The similarities alone I could live with. It would confirm things we already suspect. It is the distinctions that trouble me.

I suspect there will be plenty of time to lose sleep over the consequences of this data. For now, we must applaud the efforts of Tyler Freeborn.

I can never condone his willingness to incite hysteria. However, the man went as far as anyone I know in search of the truth. That I must respect.

May he rest in peace.

Walkthrough

There are 4 tiers to this mission.

Tier 1/4

• Put on the respirator and follow Tyler Freeborn into the fog
  • After clicking it in your inventory, you will be able to find it in your dressing room under "face".
  • If you take it off in the fog, you will take continual damage until you put it on again.

Tier 2/4

• Find the source of the song
  • Keep walking (or stand still) until you faint.

Tier 3/4

• Search for Tyler Freeborn
  • After fighting Edgar, you can complete the bridge by activating the three lower wheels (see images)

Tier 4/4

• Identify the body
• Listen to Tyler Freeborn's last recording
