Our current models indicate that your attempts to suppress the filth through conventional means have a 99.999999999% chance of failure.
Please note that our model has a 0.000000001% margin of error in these types of predictions.
More interesting is Ricky Pagan and the dancing he does. Interpreting the dance may be a key data point for future models.
Illuminati
I don’t approve of hippies. They smell bad, they dress in hemp clothing and nothing Zurn has ever shown me comes close to the nightmares I’ve had after getting a glimpse of a hippy’s toenails.
But I can get behind this little initiative. Stopping filth from bubbling up is probably a good idea. Stopping it from turning the local wildlife into something that resembles a Japanese horror film is probably an even better idea.
Also I could get behind Ricky. But that probably goes without saying.
Templar
Ricky Pagan is a...colourful fellow isn’t he? His message is earnest, but I’m not sure that sealing off pipes is going to stop the tide. After all, we still aren’t sure of the mechanisms behind the retreat from Agartha. That’s the question that troubles the brains at Temple Hall – why is the Filth in Tokyo so volatile? Why is it so much faster to evolve than the other forms you have encountered? And just how much of it is there pooling beneath the city?
Dialogue
Intro cutscene
- Ricky Pagan: Yes...Kaoru and I used to come here. She and Ricky Pagan were an item back then. She was divine.
- Ricky Pagan: This park is a holy place. It's Amaterasu's place.
- Ricky Pagan: Love powers it, makes the gears of the immaculate machine churn. We churned the gears, Kaoru and I.
- Ricky Pagan: These days, she's holed up in the Love Hotel.
- Ricky Pagan: We had to split, Kaoru and I. She thinks it's because Ricky Pagan saw what was between her legs.
- Ricky Pagan: But Ricky Pagan don't play that way!
- Ricky Pagan: Everyone's bits are beautiful. All love is groovy.
- Ricky Pagan: Every part of Kaoru was a delight.
- Ricky Pagan: No...it was something Ricky Pagan saw on her thigh.
- Ricky Pagan: It was a tattoo. A mark that bodes nothing, but nothing, but bad. A purple tattoo.
- Ricky Pagan: So Ricky Pagan had to...(sighs)
- Ricky Pagan: So Ricky Pagan had to exit. Stage right.
- Ricky Pagan: It's the end, final curtain call, lighters held high, defying the dark. No past. No future.
- Ricky Pagan: Just the bow-wow-now-now-now!
- Ricky Pagan: There's room for two in the fight against the Filth. Someone to churn the holy gears with.
- Ricky Pagan: Maybe someday I'll find her...
- Ricky Pagan: or him...
Ricky looks out to the harbor and then points as a loud beastly roar is heard
- Ricky Pagan: Oh mama, oh mamma-jamma, oh sweet immaculate machine!
- Ricky Pagan: The corporate Id! It's manifested and mad.
- Ricky Pagan: My metaphors are turning solid evil. It's time. The park is the last stand.
- Ricky Pagan: This is the battle for Earth's soul - will you answer the call?<bɾ>
Player salutes, Ricky's Vegas backdrop briefly appears
- Ricky Pagan: May the holy trinity guide you - Gaia, Amaterasu, and Elvis!
- Ricky Pagan: Thankyewverymuch.
- Ricky Pagan: When the going gets weird, the weird turn BA. It's TCB time, baby!

Trivia
Title of mission plays on famous quote "We see now through a glass darkly" from St. Paul's "Letter to the Corinthians". "Korinto-Kai" is Japanese for "The Corinthians," a name that plays in turn on the 1920's precursor of Pachinko, "The Corinth Game". St. Paul's Corinthians are admonished to "put aside childish things."
