Mission Description
Tier 1
You have stepped into a seemingly abandoned facility. Strange emblems of a crimson fist can be seen on various walls and crates. Proceed with caution, as traps and unseen threats are lurking around each corner.
  • Enter the bunker
  • Make it past the mine clusters
  • Make it through the laser trip mines
  • Deactivate the electrified floor
  • Enter the final chamber
  • Sneak past and disable the War Machine
  • Investigate the War Machine's chassis
  • Use the keypad and proceed deeper into the dream

Walkthrough

There is only 1 tier to this mission.

Tier 1/1

  • Enter the bunker
    • Step through the door that opened and the entrance to the bunker will be to your right
  • Make it past the mine clusters
    • Walk through the hallway without setting off any of the landmines on the floor
    • If you do set one off, there is penalty, this is just an introduction on what to expect in typical Category:Sabotage missions
  • Make it through the laser trip mines
    • Continue down the hallway, avoiding vertical laser beams and jumping over horizontal ones
    • Make sure to have sprint turned on (hotkey "x") to help with jumping
  • Deactivate the electrified floor
    • As you step into the room with the electrified water, there will be a yellow-outlined console to your left
  • Enter the final chamber
    • Cross the room to the closed doors on the other side
    • The Dream Architect will appear and speak to you, and then the doors will open
  • Sneak past and disable the War Machine
    • There will be a metal Golem in the next room, the War Machine
    • The red circle around it and red cone in front of it will indicate its area of awareness and line of sight
    • Sneak around the room, using the pillars to help stay out of its sight
    • If you get caught by the War Machine you will be knocked out, and will awaken in the previous room to try again
    • There will be a yellow-outlined console on the far side of the room, use it to disable the War Machine
  • Investigate the War Machine's chassis
    • The War Machine will be disabled, un-moving, and will not have the red circle/cone.
    • Walk up to it, and use "F" to interact with it, you will be shown a picture
  • Use the keypad and proceed deeper into the dream
    • There will be a yellow-outlined keypad to the left of the door
    • You can mouse-click on the numbers, or use your numberpad on your keyboard, and then click OK or hit 'Enter'
    • The password is found on the War Machine's chassis: 3691
    • Once the door is open, enter the next hallway

Dream Architect: Where the cat walks, the clever mouse will walk unseen. A mouse cannot defeat a cat, face to face.
