• "Tir" is a different spelling for the Norse god of law, Tyr
• "Tir's Fist" and "The price of a lie" - refer to a story about the Norse gods shackling the wolf Fenrir. Tyr put his hand in Fenrir's mouth to convince the wolf that they were not tricking the wolf. And, when Fenrir found himself unable to break free, he bit off Tyr's hand.
