Dialogue

Dialogue Scene Name

Vampire Hunter: All vampires have the same weakness.
Vampire Hunter: That makes them vulnerable.
Vampire Hunter: They might live forever, but without blood they're harmless.
Vampire Hunter: Every day, they need to drink.
Vampire Hunter: And once they've run through the wild game,
Vampire Hunter: they need to rely on field rations. So to speak.
Vampire Hunter: Most of them are mongrels, lowest of the low.
Vampire Hunter: Willing converts to un-death.
Vampire Hunter: They've been recruited from the ranks of criminals and misfits.
Vampire Hunter: Promised eternal life and glory
Vampire Hunter: in exchange for a life in darkness.
Vampire Hunter: Some are older and stronger.
Vampire Hunter: Centuries old...clever too, and...
Vampire Hunter: they're real tough to put down.
Vampire Hunter: And then you've got your purebreeds.
Vampire Hunter: They've been around since the dawn of things.
Vampire Hunter: Since the night grew fangs, and I'd not last five seconds in that fight.
Vampire Hunter: So I have to be smarter than them.
Vampire Hunter: More resourceful.
Vampire Hunter: It's taken me a while to find the right mix, but I think I got it now.
Vampire Hunter: I just haven't been able to get close enough to give it the proper test run.
Vampire Hunter: Tell you what. Seeing as you're pretty much immortal your own self,
Vampire Hunter: I'll let you have the honours.

A system is a noose. Its purpose is to hang the sterile and determine who among us possesses the will to greatness. The Vampire Hunter has this will, and so he has earned his knowledge.

The blood bags are a kind of system - a very recent one. They allow the vampires to sustain a unified camp, but they also dull their senses and their spirit. It is not in their nature to be sedentary. Deep down they want to hunt to abandon all banners. Someone deprives them of this, and so deep down they want you to kill them.

I hate these men of mystery types. Ooh, look at me, I've got a backstory. I'll bet you it involves vampires killing his family. Tragic, I'm sure.

Let's focus on facts and results. Those human blood bags are what's allowing the vampires to become more controlled and sedentary than they actually are. This isn't evolution. Someone figured this shit out and administered it because they want to lead a unified vampire front. For what purpose? The answer to that question lies in further facts and results.

The Vampire Hunter - one simply can't trust anyone without a real name and at least five years of properly filed paperwork. Such are the times.

Nonetheless, his poisoned blood mixture shows promising results. Whatever his story, I'm sure it doesn't speak well of vampires.

Your foray into the Observatory offers wonderful insight into their hierarchical structure. Their greatest weakness - other than poisoned blood bags - has always been a lack of administrative management. We must focus our efforts on whoever - or whatever - has succeeded in uniting them under a banner.
