This template is used on many pages, and changes to it will be widely noticed. Please test any changes in the template's /sandbox subpage, or in a user subpage, and consider discussing changes at the talk page before implementing them. |
This template is to be used when creating Category:Monsters pages. The infobox will be beneficial in providing quick snippets of information to the user without forcing him/her to go rifling through blocks of text. They are very easy to use and will make the page look much better.
Usage
Place this at the very top of your page, and fill in the information provided (variable descriptions follow the code). If some variables don't have info, leave it out, and it will be hidden in the template.
{{monsterbox |name = |image = |type = |level = |difficulty = |damagetype = |aegisdamage = |aegis1type = |aegis1amount = |aegis2type = |aegis2amount = |aegis3type = |aegis3amount = |rarity = |isboss = |hp = |xp = |region = |zone = |location = |mapcoords = }}
IMPORTANT: Do not add categories in the page content. They are automatically set by the template!

Notes
- Name - Used mainly for monsters that are going to pulled into other articles (dungeon bosses into dungeon pages for example) or that have a disambiguation on their page name ( "Shade_(Monster)" for example). In those instances, put the monster's name in so that it will show correctly
- Image - Just use the image name, do not include "file:" or any other formatting. For example: "Dan-Williams.jpg".
- Do not place brackets around type, region, zone, location etc. Page links are created by the template.
- Try to use Region / Zone / Location / Dungeon names exactly as listed on the Locations page or the various zone pages, in order to make auto-linking work properly.
