The Siege engine materials are the various pieces needed by the vampires to construct the siege engines outside of Harbabureşti. Destroying them will prevent the vampires from building more.

There are actually two different types of Siege engine materials. Destroying either counts for the mission, and it does not matter which you find and destroy.
