Huginn and Muninn are the mythical ravens of the Norse god Odin. They are especially tied to Odin's aspect as the god of Wisdom. Hugin means "Thought" in the Old Norse language, and Muninn means "Memory".
Huginn and Muninn are often depicted as sitting on Odin's shoulder, or else as flying amongst the mortals. Sometimes acting as Odin's eyes and ears, and sometimes spreading their wisdom to mortals the gods are paying particular attention to.
See the Wikipedia article on Huginn and Muninn for more real-world mythological information about them.
In The Secret World, Huginn and Muninn appear near standing stones spread around Blue Mountain while players are examining them as part of the Strangers from a Strange Land mission. During the mission, they tell the story of how Vikings came to the shores of Solomon Island at the same time when the local Wabanaki tribe of Native Americans were fighting off invading Mayans.
For the details of the story, see the mission Strangers from a Strange Land.
