  • Take the security droid’s controller arm
  • Equip the arm and use its Scan ID function to access the elevator
  • Take the elevator down

Walkthrough

There are 4 tiers to this mission.

Tier 1/4

  • Examine the Blueprints
    • Interact with the 'Basement Blueprints' on the table in Damian's office
  • Take the explosive
    • Interact with the C4 on the table next to the blueprints
  • Travel to Faust Capital Bank
    • It's marked on your map
    • It's located at (442,676)
  • Search for a way to gain access to the building
    • There is a cell phone on the ground, at (476,646)
  • Examine the Soda Machine
    • Interact with the vending machine, at (471,652)
    • You will receive a phone call from Daimon Kiyota after using the vending machine
  • Examine nearby kiosks for superglue
    • It will be on the back shelf inside a kiosk
  • Examine nearby kiosks for a lighter
    • It will be in one of the front racks of the kiosk
  • Use the lighter to force superglue vapour onto the vending machine
    • Interact with the Bingo Cola vending machine again
  • Examine the soda machine
  • Kill a Filth-infected Office Employee
    • There are a couple nearby
  • Cut the hand off the dead infected
  • Harvest hands to find the fingerprint, then use it to access the Mefisto Security building
  • Enter Mefisto Security

Tier 2

  • Find a way to reach the basement
    • Go into the first room on the left, kill the two filth infected there, while avoiding the detection of the Security Droid
  • Take the security droid’s controller arm
    • Interact with the droid in the chair that was next to them
    • You will receive a Droid Arm in your inventory
  • Equip the arm and use its Scan ID function to access the elevator
  • Take the elevator down
    • Once inside the elevator, select floor 1

Tier 3

  • Traverse the corridor
    • As you approach the section with lines on the floor, you'll receive a phone call from Daimon Kiyota
  • Cartwheel along the corridor
    • Use the "/cartwheel" emote to move forward until you're past the lines (you can also use the Emote GUI)
    • NOTE: Sometimes /cartwheel repeats so you may need to break out if it once you are across
    • You'll receive another phone call when you get past the security area
    • Use the Scan ID ability on the scanner, in case you get caught and need to pass this way again
  • Unlock the door to high security
    • Get past the first Security Droid by going behind the partitions along the right-hand wall
  • Use Scan ID on the door, it will tell you Access Denied
  • Search for another path
    • Interact the vent on the wall
    • As you get to the blue-outlined tiles on the floor, you'll receive another phone call from Daimon Kiyota
  • Use Moonwalk Pro emote in the Emote GUI to cross the pressure plates
    • Turn around to face the way you came, open the Emote GUI and select the "Moonwalk Pro" emote, you may need to use it more than once
  • Find another door into the high security area
    • Face the Security Droid past the next door, and use WiFi Direct Connect to connect to him and then use System Reboot to shut him so you can run past him into the room to your left.
    • At the hallway intersection with three droids, target the droid closest to you, use WiFi Direct Connect to attach to him, and then use System Reboot to shut him down long enough to move into the hallway to your right. Follow it around the corner and look for pipes on the right hand wall. You can jump up on these pipes to reach a walkway above, and then jump from the walkway onto more pipes that will let you jump over the fence into a blind spot on the left side.
    • You can actually time the run around the patrolling droid, but you can also WiFi Direct Connect to it and use System Reboot, then run down the corridor.
    • System reboot doesn't last long enough for you to get past the droid watching the blue-outlined tiles, so you will need to target him, use WiFi Direct Connect, then run down to the end of the partitions going back towards the three droids you bypassed earlier. Order the droid to go as far over towards its other three companions as you can, then wait behind the partition until you are clear of its sensor and run to the blue-outlined tiles. You will need to turn around and use the Moonwalk Pro emote again to get past them.
  • Unlock the security door
    • After going through the doorway, take the hallway to the left. Use Scan ID on the first door to the left.

Tier 4

  • Find the vault wall and place the explosives
    • Watching the Security Drones, use Scan ID on the first door on the right.
    • You can also use WiFi Direct Connect on the right drone to move to out of the way using Request Personnel.
    • Use the white [] brackets on the north wall to plant explosives. Back up before the explosives detonate.
    • Be careful not to step into the hole in the ground the filth is breaking out of — you can get stuck on the geometry and have to /reset to get out.
  • Use the vault computer to unlock box 143
    • Inside the vault, the computer is on the east wall, just past the vault door. As long as you hug the wall the Security Drones wont see you
    • Tell the computer "143" to unlock box 143.
    • It will prompt for the security code.
      • The security code was written on the blueprints Daimon Kiyota gave you: 498307.
  • Recover the manila envelope from box 143
    • The box is on the north wall, interact with the box to get the envelope
  • Escape the high security area
    • Once you get the envelope, a number of Security Droids will enter the vault. The quickest way back to the lobby is to let one catch you.
    • However, if you're going for the achievement, you'll have to let them come into the vault and split up, then connect to one and reboot it so you can slip past it and get out.
  • Deliver the envelope to the Korinto-kai goon in the lobby
    • Once in the lobby of the building, interact with the "Korinto-kai Hatchetman" to give him the envelope

TIP: Do not forget to re-equip your weapon!

What do you know about Faust? He was unhappy with his life, so he made a pact with the devil to exchange his soul for unlimited knowledge and worldly pleasures.

Some versions of the tale portray him as damned forever. Others portrayed him as repentant and welcomed into a divine embrace.

We wonder about the deal that Daimon Kiyota has made and whether he is damned or enlightened? Or both.

Let me get this straight. You walk around with weapons, potions and god-only-knows what else jammed into your apparently infinite pockets and YOU DIDN'T TAKE ANY OF THE MONEY?

Forget the fact that you just cartwheeled down a corridor, moonwalked across a high tech floor and then used a robot freaking arm to get past security, you robbed a bank and didn't take the money?

Either you aren't half the Illuminati I thought you were, or Daimon Kiyota has kung fucked your brain.

Seriously though, people are watching you. At least try to keep up appearances. It reflects on both of us.

The Old Guard don't approve of breaking into bank vaults. Considering they own most of the major banks in Europe, it isn't that surprising. But this was a Faust Capital vault. Faust Capital are another branch of the many-limbed Orochi Group and while we aren't in direct conflict with them, I am always happy to tweak their nose recently.

On a more personal note, I advise being more cautious around this Daimon Kiyota character. He is unreliable and dangerous. Perhaps worse, he is ambitious. He is no friend of our organization. Remember that.

Dialogue

Introduction

As you enter Daimon's office, he is dancing and doing cartwheels

Daimon: What? No way for a crown prince of crime to behave? Bushwa! Loosen up, cat.
Daimon: You ever wonder why it's only the super-lit boozehounds who come out the sole survivor of a heinous car crash?
Daimon: Because they're loose man. Not even a trace of brittle dignity left to turn to jagged glass in their blood.
Daimon: You just can't chill off a wad of rubber and Jell-O. It's got too much give to kill.
Daimon: Be the Fool! Rip that face into a ragged-gash grin.
Daimon: Got a job for you. First off, you're welcome! Shhh!
Daimon: No need to speak, I can hear the implied "thank you."
Daimon: I mean, jeepers creepers, this is a gift. From me to you.
Daimon: Who hasn't day-dreamed doing this?
Daimon: The very reason the first cells bothered to divide and begin the evolutionary dance towards civilization.
Daimon: Yes! To perform an unlikely bank heist!
Daimon: The bank is owned by Faust Capital, which is owned by Orochi. So this knockover will be a tricky bit of merriment.
Daimon: The biggest flaw in any security system is the human element.
Daimon: Sniff around the are surrounding the bank. Find that human breech, and needle your way home.
Daimon: You'll find the score in the vault. No spoilers yet. I'll update you the particulars over the blower.
Daimon: Be loose. Be the Fool.
Daimon: Oh...and beware the purple stuff.
Tier 1
Phone call after looking at the vending machine
Daimon: Here's an interesting bit of trivia: latent fingerprints can be lifted using cyanoacrylate fuming.
Daimon: We call that "superglue" fumes. The more you know, right?
After getting the fingerprint
Daimon: We have the fingerprints. Now we need the finger.
Daimon: I bet you a pint of giggle water that one of those grummy filthers used to be the one we're looking for.
Daimon: Were you ever bold enough to approach a stranger to get their digits?
Tier 3
When you approach the lines on the floor...
Daimon: Stop! Freeze your stilts. Don't... move. Nearly there. But this corridor... Close your head and listen.
Daimon: This place is lousy with traps. I'll guide you through. Do exactly what I say,
Daimon: or you'll trip into a wooden kimono. No room for dignity now...
Daimon: Now cartwheel along the corridor. No thinking. Just do it. Be the Fool. Catch you on the other side.
After cartwheeling past the security...
Daimon: Ducky. Now turn around. See what you just crossed.
As you approach the blue tiles
Daimon: This next part is a tricky bit of calico. Those blue floor tiles-they're pressure sensitive and trigger when weight is lifted off them.
Daimon: I hope you can do a mean moonwalk.
Daimon: Quick riddle: When is being silly deadly serious? Shhhh-shhh...
After you get past the blue tiles...
Daimon: You're a dance floor demon. My YouTube followers are going to love this security footage.
Daimon: You need to locate where the maintenance tunnels pass the bank vault.
Daimon: Give the walls a love tap and listen for the hollow.
Daimon: I'd make a sexual analogy, but we don't have time! Once you find it, use those explosives I gave you.
