Usage

Create a new page and enter the following into the body: {{subst:Boilerplate:Dungeonpage}}

Then save the page. You should now see the the empty template ready for you to edit. Click "edit" and fill in missing information and remove any categories which are not applicable to that ability.

Template Properties

Place this at the very top of your page, and fill in the information provided (variable descriptions follow the code). If some variables don't have info, leave it out, and it will be hidden in the template.

IMPORTANT!

Do not add categories in the page content. They are automatically set by the template!

Property descriptions

  • Image - Filename for the image of the monster. Just use the image name, do not include "file:" or any other formatting. For example: "Dan-Williams.jpg". Leave it blank if the image is the same name as the location, exact spelling is required.
  • Region - What region they are located in. See Locations for a list of regions (section headers on that page). For example: Solomon Island or Valley of the Sun God.
  • Zone - What zone they are located in. See Locations for a list of zones (links below each section header). For example: Kingsmouth or Savage Coast. For a location in a solo instance, put the instance name here followed by (solo instance) (examples)
  • Location - What location is it located in. See Locations for a list of zones (links below each section header). For example: Kingsmouth or Savage Coast.
  • Mapcoords - The coordinates where the monster is located within that zone. Typically used when this is a rare or a boss type mob and there is only one of them in existence and it always spawns at the same spot. May also be used if there is no generic "Location" or "Nearby Landmark" that can be used to help find them. Otherwise, leave the code in there to it is placed into a category for locations that need coords. For example: 123,456
  • Type - What type of area is it. Raid or Dungeon.
  • Map - Map of the dungeon or raid.

Notes

  • Do not place brackets around type, region, zone, location etc. Page links are created by the template.
  • Try to use Region / Zone / Location / Dungeon names exactly as listed on the Locations page or the various zone pages, in order to make auto-linking work properly.
