Scorpions are normally found hiding beneath the sand in locations such as Valley of the Sun God. You can identify their locations by small puffs of sand that appear above the ground. If you step too close, they will emerge and attack, using their natural claws and poisonous venom. Scorpion are hurt and attracted by a thumper, a device that sends supersonic pulses through the ground.[1]
