Pistols
Pistol users focus on synergy between their two pistols. When the chambers of both pistols are in alignment, their pistol attacks can have additional effects.
Pistols are one of the primary weapon abilities.
Pistols are primarily associated with with abilities that focus on making enemies Hindered or Weakened, attacking with Chain attacks, and doing Critical damage. They are primarily suited for the role of Support and Damage.
Pistols are considered Medium Range - most abilities having a range of 10-meters

Special Ability
The special ability for Pistols is called "Chamber Roulette"
When pistols are equipped, you will see a pair of revolver pistol chambers on your GUI. The "Bullets" loaded into into these revolvers are colour coded. Three of them are white, two of them are blue, and one of them is red.
When not in combat, the revolvers are always set so they both have a white bullet selected (at the top). This is where they will start when you enter combat. While in combat, every time you use a pistol ability, the chambers will rotate and randomly land on a new bullet. After they rotate, if both chambers landed on the same colour they will lock into position for 3 seconds. A timer will appear between the chamber to count down the three seconds.
While the chambers are locked, instead of rotating they will do extra damage whenever a Pistol ability hits. The damage done is based on the color of the match:
- White = +65% your Combat Power
- Blue = +125% your Combat Power
- Red = +200% your Combat Power
Also note that the bonus damage is applied when the ability is activated. If a channeled ability is used (or any ability), that lasts past the 3 second duration it will get the damage bonus for the entire duration of the ability as long as it was activated before the 3 seconds expired
After combat, both chambers will reset to a white match.
