The Maverick is a Starter Deck for all societies, relying primarily on Pistols for quick, one-target damage, and Blade for their defensive properties.

Completing the Maverick deck will award the Maverick Achievement and the Maverick uniform.

Description

The Maverick never asked for anything from anybody. This is a well-rounded professional who primarily uses pistols to focus on one enemy at a time. The blade is there to finish the job, and for its strong defensive measures. If others try to get in the way of a one-on-one, the Maverick's blend of ground attacks and self-supporting abilities ensures things seldom get out-of-hand. And even if they do, there's a good dirty trick that allows for a rapid getaway.

Active

  • The Business - [1 AP, Active, Single Attack, Single] - A single target pistol attack that deals a moderate amount of damage over multiple hits. Builds a weapon resource for each equipped weapon.
  • Shootout - [1 AP, Active, Focus, Single] - A single target pistol focus attack that channels a large amount of damage in multiple hits. Consumes all pistol resources.
  • Dancing Blade - [Unknown AP, Elite Active, Unknown, Unknown] - Unknown
  • Wanted - [4 AP, Active, Chain, TAoE] - A pistol chain that deals a large amount of damage to your target before jumping to nearby targets. Consumes all pistol resources.
  • Above the Law - [1 AP, Active, Single Attack, GTAoE] - A pistol attack that places a damage field on a target area for a short time. Exploits hindered state. Builds a weapon resource for each equipped weapon.


  • Dirty Tricks - [7 AP, Elite Active, Single Attack, GTAoE] - A pistol attack that fires at a targeted area, dealing a large amount of damage. Affected targets become Hindered and rooted to the ground for 4 seconds. Targets also become Weakened by 5 stacks of the Corrupted effect. This effect can stack up to 10 times.

Passive

  • Magnum - [1 AP, Passive, Single Attack, Single Target, Modifies: The Business] - The Business also reduces all healing effects on that target for a short time. Sets weakened state.
  • Straight Shooter - [4 AP, Passive, Single Attack, Single Target] - Increases all damage dealt by pistol attacks.


  • Coup de Grace - [2 AP, Passive, Single Attack, Single Target] - If a target with your pistol resources on it dies, nearby friends will be healed for a small amount.
  • Vigilante - [1 AP, Passive, Single Attack, Single Target, Modifies: Above the Law] - Increases the duration of Above the Law by 5 seconds.


  • Rapid Getaway - [7 AP, Elite Passive, Single Attack, Single Target] - Whenever you consume resources, you increase your movement speed for a short time.
