Description
The Jack O'Lantern is a dreadfully evil entity made of rotting pumpkins, vines, and other vegetation. He was once a Irish boy who migrated to Solomon Island and was working on the Henderson Farm.[1]
In one version of the story, Jack is turned into the creature by Archibald Henderson after the death of one of his daughters[2], however The Bees have said that it was as a result of Jack sleeping with Archibald Henderson's daughter, Samantha.[3]
Jack shows up in all three zones of Solomon Island - Kingsmouth, Savage Coast, and Blue Mountain. But, only as mission objectives, and will not be found wandering on his own.
- In Kingsmouth he is in Wispwood as part of the Something Wicked mission. You first see him during this mission, although you do not attack him.
- In Savage Coast you chase him through several pumpkin patches in the southern half of the zone as part of the Jack's Back mission.
- In Blue Mountain you once again chase him through several pumpkin patches, as part of the Jack of the Lantern mission.
Completing all three of these missions gives the Jack-in-the-Box achievement with the pumpkinhead as a reward.
