REPEATABLE (Recommended Level 43)
A laptop in the devastated camp still seems to have a live link with Orochi control.
Tier 1
Your faction would be interested in any data you might be able to retrieve.
  • Search the laptop for information

(After using the laptop) Scanning through the terminal entries, you learn that a missing patrol might have found something of interest to your faction.

  • Find the missing patrol

(After finding the patrol/crate) This must be the remains of one of the patrols listed in the terminal. Search the surrounding area for the "quarantined material" they intend to recover.

  • Open the Orochi crate

(After attempting to open the crate) The crate is secured with a keycard lock. One of the slain Orochi soldiers may still have his access card.

  • Find a way to unlock the Orochi crate
  • Open the Orochi crate

Hear a sound like thunder; it is the sound of line converging. The false religion, the Phoenician opportunists, the Orochi, they all meet in this broken city.

Each was convince what they find here would empower them to change the world. But what they found here were echoes from an older world. A world that had its time, turned, and was stilled forever. Watch them run their fingers through its cool, hoping to uncover a diamond.

None appreciate that this world will end just as the old world did, as all worlds do. Its just the cycle.

Okay, lets you and I parking lot the directive about not interfering with Orochi affairs for one second. Our techs are having a study party over the results you're sending. The readings from these things are off the charts, don't worry, I don't think it's radiation.

We know Orochi tech is years ahead of the R&D market. It figures they're getting a leg up from somewhere, or something, and these little scavenger hunts are helping us fill in the blanks.

Of course we never had this conversation. I already deleted this message, you're on your own.

So many lives lost in the pursuit of sacred metal. I realise I'm one to talk, considering the lengths Templars - old Templars - went to in order to keep our trophy cabinets stocked. It's unpleasant.

These fragments they found are old: older than the cult, older than this tomb city. Older than Egypt itself, I would wager. It is becoming apparent that the Orochi Group is targeting prizes far beyond myth and legend, but to what end? Simply furthering their technological advancement? No, namedropping Prometheus comes with a certain weight of expectation.

To say nothing of a dire fate.
