The Chaos Theorist rewrites the rules of close combat with chaos magic and fist weapons. This deck is based around area-of-effect attacks and impairment. Dashes allow you to move to enemies, or chaos magic abilities can pull enemies to you. Managing range is important for a successful Chaos Theorist.

Supporting passive abilities prey on impaired enemies, and can provide a heal-over-time effect to give the Chaos Theorist good sustainability.

Completing this deck rewards you with the Chaos Theorist unform, title, and achievement.

Weapons Needed

Active Abilities

  • Wheel of Knives - [9 AP, Active, Frenzy, PBAoE] - A chaos frenzy that deals a moderate amount of damage to nearby enemies. Builds a weapon resource for each equipped weapon.
  • Karma - [16 AP, Active, Frenzy, PBAoE] - A chaos frenzy that deals a large amount of damage to nearby enemies and cause them to heal the next target they hit. Consumes all chaos resources.
  • Berserk - [16 AP, Active, Single Attack, Single Target, Effect: Feral Regrowth] - A fist weapon ability that adds an area of effect component to your subsequent attacks. Grants Feral Regrowth. Consumes all fist weapon resources.
  • Bushwhack - [34 AP, Active, Charge, Single] - A single target fist weapon charge that deals a large amount of damage and locks all the target's active abilities, for a short time. Sets impaired state.
  • Helter Skelter - [21 AP, Active, Dash, Single Target] - You dash forward and deal a small amount of damage in a column in front of you. Sets impaired state.
  • Chaotic Pull - [12 AP, Active, Single Attack, Single] - A single target, ranged chaos attack that deals a moderate amount of damage and pulls the target to you.


Passive Abilities

  • Wheel of Misfortune - [12 AP, Passive, Single Attack, Single Target, Modifies: Wheel of Knives] - Wheel of Knives deals an extra hit to targets in impaired and weakened states.
  • Hysteria - [21 AP, Passive, Single Attack, Single Target] - Whenever you successfully hit with a frenzy category attack, your hit chance is increased for a short time.
  • Breakdown - [9 AP, Passive, Single Attack, Single Target] - Whenever you successfully hit a target with a Chaos, Blade or Hammer Ability , you increase all damage done to that target for a short time. Sets weakened state.
  • Sick Society - [34 AP, Passive, Single Attack, Single Target] - Whenever you hit a target on low health, you deal an extra hit for a small amount of damage.
  • Concussion - [34 AP, Passive, Single Attack, Single Target] - Whenever you set impaired state, you also deal a moderate amount of direct damage.
  • Renewal - [9 AP, Passive, Single Attack, Single Target] - Whenever you hit an impaired target, there's a chance everyone hitting the same target will get a small heal over time effect.
  • From the Abyss - [50 AP, Elite Passive, Single Attack, Single Target] - Every sixth successful attack will trigger an extra attack that deals a large amount of damage to nearby enemies. Deals more damage to targets on low health
