The Baron Samedi Hats are part of the Baron Samedi set of clothes. However, unlike most other pieces of the set, it was not originally available as a mission reward from The Cat God mission and was added in following years as a separate item. As part of the 2014 Samhain event, the basic version was added as an achievement award for completing the Tails from the Crypt achievement. That achievement was a 2012 achievement, but the had was awarded retroactively to all players who had already completed it.
The hat is a a fairly tall Top Hat that has been slightly damaged and is cumpled on side and leans to the wearers left. There is a band thin leather, about 2 inches wide at the base of the hat, with a feather stuck in it.
The basic version is referred to as "Baron Samedi Top Hat" while the faction versions are merely called "Baron Samedi Hat" despite having the exact same look other than colors.

Options
There are four version of this.
- Basic - A very dark grey hat, with a purple band at the base and a dark grey feather.
- "Faction Colored" - This item says "faction colored" when it is in your inventory but will change to the color appropriate to your faction when you use it and put it in your Dressing Room
- Blue - Illuminati
- Green - The Dragon, A dark green fabric hat, with a black band at the base and a grey feather.
- Red - Templars
Note: The "black" version of this clothing item is named Corbie topper and is on it own page because it includes some unique effects
