Arun Singh is a graduate archaeology student, working with Montgomery de la Roche at the Oxford Camp in the Scorched Desert. Although it is hinted at that they have a relationship that is personal as well as professional.
Arun's graduate thesis is the "Big Terrible Picture" which is explained in the final cut scenes for The Big Terrible Picture mission as well as in his notebook.
