Impaired state is the term used to describe a player or enemy who is stunned, or rendered unable to attack or move for a short time.


Set Impaired Abilities

Blades

Fists

  • Go for the Throat (Feral) - A single target attack deals XX physical damage. The target also becomes Impaired and unable to activate abilities for 5 seconds and Afflicted with a DoT that deals XX physical damage every second for 10 seconds.
  • Bushwhack (The Outback) - You charge (15 meters) to the target dealing XX physical damage. The target also becomes Impaired and unable to activate abilities for 5 seconds.
  • Restraint (Heat of Battle) - Whenever you hit, you build a Restraint counter. When you have 6 counters, your next hit causes the target to become Impaired and unable to activate abilities for 3 seconds. If you perform a glancing hit, the counter will reset. This effect has an internal recharge time of 30 seconds.
  • Muzzle (Heat of Battle) - A single target attack that deals XX physical damage. The target also becomes Impaired and unable to activate abilities for 5 seconds. This ability has a 15 meter range.

  • Domino Effect (Theory) - A PBAoE attack that hits up to 6 enemies in a 5 meter radius around you, dealing XX magical damage. Affected targets are also pulled towards you and become Impaired and knocked to the ground for 4 seconds.
  • Prisoner of Fate (Teorema) - A channelled attack that deals XX magical damage per hit, or XX magical damage if the target's health is below 35%. The target also becomes Impaired and unable to act for the duration fo the channel. This ability has a 7 meter range.
  • Pressure Point [3] (The Value of x) - <passive> Whenever you hit, you build a Pressure Point counter. When there are 6 counters, your next attack will cause your target to become Impaired and knocked to the ground for 3 seconds. The count is then reset. This effect has an internal recharge time of 30 seconds.
  • Helter Skelter (The Value of x) - A column dash (dash forward 10 meters, affecting up to 6 enemies in a 6 meter wide column) attack that deals XX physical damage. Affected targets become Impaired and unable to act for 3 seconds.

Passives Modifying Impaired Abilities

Blades

  • Expose Weakness (Method) - Whenever you apply Impaired you gain the Minor Penetration Chance effect, which increases your Penetration Chance by 10% for 8 seconds.
  • On Guard (Sharpening the Senses) - Whenever you apply Impaired, you also gain 3 stacks of the Defence Rating effect, which increases your Defence Rating by 35 per stack for 8 seconds. This effect can stack up to 5 times.

Fists

  • Concussion (The Streets) - Whenever you apply Impaired you perform an additional hit that deals XX physical damage.

Hammers

  • Street Fighter (Grit) - Whenever you apply Impaired, you gain a beneficial effect that increases all damage dealt by 10% for 8 seconds.
  • Thunderstruck (Brute Force) - Increases the duration of Impaired effects you apply by 35%. Whenever you critically hit a Weakened target, you also hit an additional time, dealing XX physical damage.
  • Bully (Battering Works) - Whenever you apply Impaired you build 2 Hammer Resources.

Blood Magic

  • Omen (Chirurgia) - Whenever your apply Impaired or whenever you are Impaired, you gain a beneficial effect that increases the amount of damage you next barrier can absorb by XX.

Chaos

  • Cause and Effect (Shell Game) - Whenever you apply Impaired or whenever you are Impaired, you gain a beneficial effect that causes your next attack to deal 15% additional damage and generate additional hate.

  1. Stave Off does not directly set impaired, but gives the player the chance to stun any attacker that glances them.
  2. Brick Wall does not directly set impaired, but impairs the player's attacker anytime the player blocks an attack.
  3. Pressure Point does not directly set impaired, but adds a special counter for each attack the player lands, setting impaired state on the target on the seventh hit.
  4. Pattern Recognition does not directly exploit impaired, but gives all the player's attacks extra damage and a chance for a second extra hit whenever attacking an impaired target.
