REPEATABLE (Recommended Level 13)
A highly secretive group has set up camp at the local airport. Danny has tried spying on them with makeshift surveillance equipment, but his plans are constantly foiled. He suspects foul play and wants help to figure out what's really going on.
Tier 1
Danny wants to use his remote controlled plane to spy on the Orochi camp but it keeps crashing. He thinks they may have an EMP device which disrupts his attempts. Use the nearby remote controlled plane to test his claims.
  • Fly the RC plane into the Orochi camp
Tier 2
As Danny said, the little plane crashed. It's still possible that it managed to capture some images of the camp and maybe the alleged EMP devices. Find the crashed plane and examine the images, if any.
  • Locate the crashed RC plane
  • Examine the images the plane took
Tier 3
The images from the crashed plane revealed three EMP devices protecting the Orochi camp. Get into the camp and find a way to disable the southern generator without being detected.
  • Investigate the Orochi camp at the airport
  • Find another route to the camp (If you go in through the main entrance)
  • Examine the corpses
  • Wear the Orochi uniform
  • Locate the code to the force field
  • Make your way through the force field
  • Disable the southern EMP generator
Tier 4
The southern generator is disabled, but the central and northern generators still protect the camp. Find a way to cross the camp undetected and disable the central generator.
  • Disable the central EMP generator
Tier 5
The southern and central generators are disabled, but the northern generator still protects the camp. Find a way to cross the camp undetected and disable the northern generator.
  • Disable the northern EMP generator
Tier 6
All of the EMP generators in the Orochi camp have been disabled. Return to Danny and carry out a second test flight to confirm that everything worked.
  • Return to Danny
  • Fly the RC plane into the Orochi camp

Walkthrough

There are 6 tiers to this mission.

Tier 1/6

  • Fly the RC place into the Orochi Camp
    • Use the RC plane on the table.
    • A short cutscene will play.

Tier 2/6

  • Locate the crashed RC plane
  • Examine the images the plane took
    • Interact with the plane on the ground

Tier 3/6

  • Investigate the Orochi camp at the airport
    • (If you have previously completed width Black Helicopters, it's the same entry method and mechanics.)
    • Don't go in the main gate of the airport, instead go to the area marked and go in through a service entrance near the water at (674,842)
  • Examine the corpses
    • Inside the service entrance
    • There are two bodies in that tunnel, a male and female.
    • Interact with the one that matches your gender to receive an Orochi uniform
  • Wear the Orochi uniform
    • Use it from your inventory or quick access bar
NOTE Wearing the uniform does not prevent you from being detected, it just greatly reduces the range at which you can be detected.
NOTE If you are detected by agents or drones, you will be knocked unconscious and dumped in the tunnel that you came in through.
  • Locate the code to the force field
    • An "Orochi Note" on a rock sticking out of the water, left of the male corpse.
    • It is 739241.
  • Make your way through the forcefield
    • Use the code from the note to disable the force-field and go through into the airport
  • Disable the southern EMP Generator
    • Located at (669,870)
    • Go up the sides of the depression and over to the generator without getting too close to any of the Orochi Guards or Orochi Sentry Drones
    • Interact with the control panel on the generator to disable it

Tier 4/6

  • Disable the central EMP Generator
    • Located at (670,908)
    • Go back down into the depression and then up at the north-western end of it, watching for the two Orochi Sentry Drones that pass close to it
    • The controls are on the side facing away from the depression

Tier 5/6

  • Disable the northern EMP Generator
    • Located at (724,935)
    • Go back down into the depression, and run up towards the helicopter to the north-east, and then head over to the small building.
    • Watch out for the drone that patrols between the helicopter and the building
    • The controls are on the side facing away from the building

Tier 6/6

  • Return to Danny
  • Fly the RC place into the Orochi camp
    • Select plane on picnic table again
    • Another short cutscene will play.

The Orochi Group is a broad corporate empire whose HQ is in Tokyo. This makes us geographical neighbours. The similarities end there.

We move in different circles. They care little for ideas; we care little for market forecasts.

Nonetheless, we do not wish to offend them. If every PC Bang in Seoul were to go offline, it would undermine our operations. The Orochi could easily make that happen. They could easily do worse. It would be preferable to uncover their objectives without drawing attention.

This playful and rudimentary form of surveillance is an excellent beginning.

Ugh, Orochi. Trace the life cycle of any product or service and it'll eventually lead to an Orochi subsidiary. They've infiltrated every sector, including ours. It's pretty much impossible to piss without getting some on them.

And they so overreact when you piss on them.

So what are they doing in Kingsmouth? More importantly, how do we find out without them knowing?

Fly-by surveillance posing as a teenage science project isn't bad. If push comes to shove and shove comes to pinning everything on a scapegoat, we'll just use the kid.

Feel free to pretend I'm kidding.

Ciao-ciao

We are frightfully concerned by the presence of the Orochi Group. They are an immensely broad and powerful corporate conglomerate with influence on the Council. As a result, we really shouldn’t be tampering in their affairs.

One would like to believe they are using their excessive means to contain and remedy the current situation. That is, of course, unlikely.

Using a toy plane to keep tabs on their operation strikes me as rather unsophisticated. The Orochi will dismiss it as mere child’s play. In other words, it is absolutely perfect!

Dialogue

Intro
Danny Dufresne: Taking a break from saving the world, huh?
Danny Dufresne: I bet you been out there punching darkness in the face and kicking evil in the...
Danny Dufresne: uh...
Danny Dufresne: Nuts.
Danny Dufresne: Or maybe you been checking up on the MIB's? Come on.
Danny Dufresne: Dead guys, followed by very-much-alive guys in black suits and black vans?
Danny Dufresne: Connect the dots.
Danny Dufresne: Anyway, that's what I've been doing. Connecting the dots.
Danny Dufresne: I rigged one of my RC planes with a wireless webcam.
Danny Dufresne: No biggie..super easy stuff.
Danny Dufresne: I already did it last year for, uhm...
Danny Dufresne: research.
Danny Dufresne: Not to get footage of Mr. Rosen, my math teacher, watering the flowers in his underpants...
Danny Dufresne: so I could put it on YouTube.
Danny Dufresne: That wasn't me.
Danny Dufresne: Flying this thing is like, uh, like air traffic control...in “Silent Hill”.
Danny Dufresne: I pretty much have to rely on, like, the Force.
Danny Dufresne: And then, every time I get over the edge of the MIB camp...
Danny Dufresne: Wham! It goes dead and it goes down.
Danny Dufresne: They got some kind of signal scrambling going on.
Danny Dufresne: maybe even EMP?
Danny Dufresne: I would so love to get my hands on that tech.
Danny Dufresne: Of course, I got, like, mad skills, so I manage to salvage the plane every time.
Danny Dufresne: But I have to keep pulling it out of trees and gluing bits back on.
Danny Dufresne: I'd really like to see what's going on inside that perimeter.
Danny Dufresne: Like Mr. Rosen used to say:
Danny Dufresne: Try, try again, Dufresne.
Danny Dufresne: Of course, he is a zombie now.
Danny Dufresne: Not that he has changed much. He's still Mr. Rosen.
Danny Dufresne: And he's still wearing those way-to-tight underpants.
